Changes of micro elements, activity of metalloenzymes-antioxidants and metal-dependent enzymes in the blood serum of patients with periodontitis influenced by complex non-surgical treatment

Data provided by WHO show that the prevalence of aggressive periodontitis is observed in almost 19% adult world population and associated with destruction attachment apparatus premature tooth loss. Development a periodontal pocket foci infection also negatively affect body on whole. Despite great number researches this field dramatic improvement treatment prophylaxis, problem high diseases remains actual. The article demonstrates biochemical changes Iron, Copper, Zinc, Manganese metal-dependent oxidant-antioxidant enzymes blood serum patients diagnosed gained after complex therapy Spirulina platensis blue-green microalgae. It was established micro- macro-elements introduced agent significantly contribute to correction Zinc content, they influence activity metaloproteins therefore, normalize antioxidant defense general.
